As a homeroom teacher, you will play a key role in students’ intellectual and personal development, guiding them through their formative years. Working alongside a multilingual teaching assistant, you will support students—many from Kyrgyz- and Russian-speaking backgrounds—as they build their English proficiency and grow into confident, well-rounded learners.

Working closely with a Homeroom Teacher, you will assist in lesson delivery, classroom management, and student engagement while fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere. Your fluency in English, Kyrgyz, and Russian will help bridge language gaps, ensuring smooth communication between students, parents, and staff.
Become an English Language Teacher at SRIS and support students in achieving fluency, critical thinking, and academic success in English. Teaching Middle and High School students, you will prepare them for Cambridge IGCSE, ESL/EAL, and standardized exams (IELTS, SAT). Yes! While English is our primary language of instruction, many of our students come from Kyrgyz- and Russian-speaking backgrounds. We have multilingual teaching assistants in primary school and support programs for ESL/EAL learners in secondary school.
