The Silk Road International School (SRIS) Robotics Team successfully represented the school at the VEX V5 Robotics Competition held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
For many of the students, this was their first experience participating in a competition of this level, yet the team demonstrated remarkable performance. During the Kazakhstan National Championship qualification, the SRIS team ranked 2nd out of 16 teams, showcasing strong engineering skills, programming abilities, and teamwork.
One of the team’s most notable achievements was receiving the Judge Award — a prestigious recognition presented by the VEX Robotics Competition judges to teams that demonstrate outstanding potential, innovation, and team spirit.
During the Alliance Matches, the team advanced to the semifinals, proving their strong strategy, collaboration, and technical preparation.
These achievements provide the team with the opportunity to apply for participation in the VEX Robotics World Championship, which will take place in Missouri, USA, one of the world’s largest robotics competitions.
We are extremely proud of our students for their dedication, teamwork, and passion for innovation. This success marks the beginning of an exciting journey in international robotics competitions.
