According to the official announcement of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the start of the 2026–2027 academic year has been postponed due to a major international event taking place in Kyrgyzstan.
Silk Road International School will officially begin the new academic year on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, instead of the previously announced date of 24 August 2026.
This change applies to all students.
The updated school calendar and event dates will be shared with families once they receive final approval.
If you have any questions, please contact the school administration or your class teacher.
We look forward to welcoming our students back on 15 September and wish everyone a wonderful end to the summer holidays!
Sincerely, Silk Road International School
